Off with your phone! Take a hike!
The Grade 5/6 students of Central Public school are challenging the people of Kingston and the surrounding area to get outside and hit the trails this summer and fall!
Our class has created two trail lists: a shorter one just for kids and a longer version for adults or adventurous families. Track your hikes on our website as you go.
Challenge Rules
Hike all the trails on the list any time in 2025. (Don't worry if you don't complete the whole thing. It still counts)
Log your hike on our site. When you've hiked them all , fill out the "Finished" form to earn a special reward: our student-designed Limestone Trail Challenge sticker! Stickers will be awarded in November, at the end of the hiking season. More info about that to follow in the fall.
Hey, here is a introduction video.
Here is the creator of the video.
Here is a map of the Kingston area where these hikes are around. The Purple Markers are kids trails. The Red markers are the adult trails.
Hey you can't take a hike with out trails, so here are some trails for you to enjoy with friends, family or by yourself.
This page is for all the safety tips and tricks you need to have a good time out there on the trails!
On the badges page you get to see all the awesome badges you can earn from completing these trails!
